Poem: The Stabbing Sword

If she could look you in the face again,
She’d tell you love has no end. 
Your’s left a mark and made her sing.

It forced her to open up and extend.
You spoke in words she’d never heard.
Opened up her eyes to everything.

Now she soars high as bird, 
She weathers all storms like never before. 
A new strength inside of her has formed. 
You were her cure, the stabbing sword.

Poem: Can He Hear Me

I don’t want live this way, 

Struggling to make all okay. 

Where are all the miracles people talk about.

All I do is pray and pray. 

Sometimes I shout it out. 

Can he really hear me.

Does he really see. 

Does he know I’m hurting

Can’t he just help me. 

Tears are always falling.

It’s my sadness speaking out. 

Where is all the blessing people speak about. 

I keep on praying.

Sometimes I scream it out.

Cant he just help me. 

Oh my heart is aching.

My body wont stop shaking. 

Where is all the love people talk about.

Where is the one.. Who,

loves from above. 

I’ve been seeking and a knocking. 

But I don’t hear a thing. 

Still hoping he finds me..

Oh why won't he help me..

I need him to speak.. 

His silence is deafening.

Or is it just me?   

Poem: Ready to Let Go

I wanna close my eyes,

And never look back. 

I wanna let go, 

Rest in peace wherever that's at. 

I don't wanna go slow.

I wanna go fast.

I'm barely hanging on.

Please just sing me a song. 

I wanna fall asleep. 

And peacefully go laying in your arms. 

I am sorry, but I fought as long and as far as I could go.

I love you all I hope you know.

Only God knows why it goes the way it goes.
