Poem: Better Man
A life of lies only makes you cry.
Why can’t you tell the truth?
Some may buy your sly disguise.
But it’s in the eyes I see your truth.
You may think your one wise guy.
But that won’t keep you flying high.
So I pray for you.
Pray your skies go grey to blue.
I believe there is good in you.
Go ahead enjoy your games.
But don’t be blaming others.
If you do you’ll start a flame.
And need advice from another.
But that won’t make the fire tame.
You’ll need forgiveness from your brothers.
But they will say…
We will pray for you.
Pray your skies go grey to blue.
We believe there is good in you.
After that it’s up to you to change your wicked ways.
Hopefully you’ll learn someday it’s the truth that sets you free.
And not your fibbing ways.
I pray you’ll be a better man someday.
The one your meant to be.
