1 ½ cups of flour
½ cup sugar
½ cup of brown sugar
3 tablespoons of Crisco
one egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 stick of butter
Pinch of salt
½ teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of baking powder
2 tablespoons of milk
1 bag of chocolate chips
Directions
In a large bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips together.
In a second large bowl mix the brown sugar, sugar, Crisco, egg, butter and teaspoon of vanilla together using a mixer or beater until the ingredients are creamed together.
Take your dry ingredients and pour it into the wet ingredients. Mix well until all ingredients are combined together forming a cookie dough. The cookie dough will seem really soft, but don't panic it suppose to be that way.
Preheat the oven at 365 degrees.
While the oven is pre-heating, take two large cookie sheets and fill them up with twelve drops of cookie dough, but space the dough balls about 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheets.
By now, your oven should be pre-heated and you should be able to stick both cookie sheets filled with yummy cookie dough into the oven to bake for about nine to ten minutes, or until golden brown.
Once your cookies are golden brown remove them from the oven and allow them to cool on the cookie sheet pan for a minute or two before removing them from the sheets.
Then, serve the cookies up warm to your friends and family members with a glass of milk, or store them inside a plastic container for up to two weeks.
