The types of species you will see at the Jackson Zoo are flamingos, elephants, parrots, lions, giraffes, zebras, wolves, and so many others. This zoo even has a gift shop to shop in to buy a souvenir at saying you went to visit. The Jackson Zoo is one of the greatest places to go to learn about how you can stop the killing of many of these beloved species so future generations can enjoy them too.
Disney's Wild Animal Kingdom
The fourth zoo I highly recommend going to in the United States is the Disney's Animal Kingdom, and it is located in Orlando, Florida. The price to get into Disney's Animal Kingdom depends on the time of year it is, but tickets usually cost around fifty dollars since it is one of the top notch zoos to visit in the United States.
This zoo is home to thousands of different species such as sea creatures, mammals, birds, amphibians, insects, plants, reptiles, rodents, marsupials, and many more.
The types of animals you will see here are tigers, elephants, giraffes, kangaroos, parrots, flamingos, alligators, crocodiles, snakes, turtles, muskrats, and the list goes on and on.
The Disney Animal Kingdom is also a great place to ride rides and watch animal shows. The kingdom is truly magical zoo filled with a full day of animal activities and adventures. It's a wonderful place to take friends and family of any age because there is so much to do.
York's Wild Animal Kingdom
The fifth greatest zoo to visit in the United States is York's Wild Animal Kingdom, and it is located in York Beach, Maine right on the ocean. This zoo is open from the month of May until the end of October. The zoo is one of the largest zoos in New England to visit and is home to over one hundred wild animals from all other the world.
The types of animals you could see here are baby black and brown bears, polar bears, sea turtles, lions, kangaroos, prairie dogs, donkeys, deer, goats, bunnies, parrots, fish, snakes, zebras, and the list goes on.
One of the coolest exhibits to check out at York's Wild Animal Kingdom is the butterfly farm exhibit because it is home to over one hundred different butterfly species. This is also a great zoo for little ones because they can actually interact with the animals here. There are feeding areas where the animals come right up to you. It's so neat.
