How to Dehydrate Bananas

Banana chips are my favorite fruity snack to munch on when I want something sweet to eat. They are sweet, delicious, and full of healthy nutrients to help keep the body full of energy. Best of all, they are simple to make. Just follow the steps below and you can have some banana chips to munch on very soon.

Step One: You will need at least six bananas peeled and sliced up into 1-inch thick round pieces. Then, you will brush the pieces with some lemon juice.

Step Two: Place the lemon juice covered banana slices onto the dehydrator tray and dehydrate them on the fruit drying setting. The banana slices will take 12-hours in the dehydrator before they become tasty banana chips.

Step Three: You will need to remove the banana chips from the dehydrator and store them in zip lock bags or a sealed plastic container to keep them fresh. Then, when you want to snack on the chips, go and grab a handful to eat up.
