Soothe an Upset Tummy with a Smoothie

When tummy discomforts trouble you soothe them away with a smoothie that helps promote a healthy tummy. A recipe to get you start is below. 

Ingredients Necessary for Making the Smoothie 

  • Berries
  • Yogurt with Probiotics 
  • Oats 
  • Raw Farm Fresh Honey 

These ingredients have a natural way of settling the stomach fast when combined together, and they contain many nutrients that are beneficial to the digestive system. 

Making the Smoothie 

Making this smoothie is fast and easy. To begin making this yummy smoothing smoothie you will need; ½ cup of blueberries, ½ of raspberries, ½ cup of strawberries, ½ cup of black berries, ¼ a cup of honey, 1 cup of plain yogurt, and ¼ a cup of oats. You will take all these ingredients and place them into a blender and blend them all together on medium speed for about 3 minutes, or until you have a smooth and creamy looking smoothie. 

Serving the Smoothie 

Once your smoothie is made, you will then want to pour it into a large cup and place a straw into it and begin sipping it down slowly. You do not want to drink this smoothie fast because it will just cause more stomach discomforts.

Useful Notes 

If your wondering if this smoothie is safe for children, it is. However, I do not recommend giving it to a baby unless you consult with your pediatrician first. If your doctor says its "OK," I would say go ahead, but to be safe just check with them first.
