Fig Prosciutto Goat Cheese Pizza

I love making pizza. There are so many different kinds you can make and I recently just made a French bread pizza with Prosciutto, fig jam and goat cheese. I have to say it was one of the sweetest pizzas I have ever made.

Ingredients

One large French bread sliced in halves as if you were cutting a sub roll open or making garlic bread.
½ Pound of Prosciutto
Jar of Fig Jam
2 Cups of Crumbled Goat Cheese
Bag of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Olive Oil
Dried Parsley Flakes
Black Pepper

Instructions

1. Pre-heat oven to 350-degrees and get out a cookie sheet.
2. Place the French bread slices onto the cookie sheet and brush them with olive oil.
3. Place the French bread slices in the oven to toast up a bit for about 5 to 7-minutes, or until you see a golden brown color on top.
4. Remove French bread slices from the oven and spread spoonfuls of fig jam over the top of them until there is a nice even layer.
5. Slice up the Prosciutto and place the slices over the jam-covered bread.
6. Sprinkle on the goat cheese and the shredded mozzarella.
7. Sprinkle some parsley flakes and black pepper over the top and bake away in the oven for about 10-minutes or until the cheese is melted.
8. Slice the French bread pizza up into chunks and eat it up for a taste sweet and salt dinner that will sure please anyone’s tummy.
