Panko Herb Crusted Chicken Drumsticks

We all love some fried chicken once in awhile, but it is not healthy to eat all the time. However, on those nights when you are craving some fried chicken, but know you should eat something healthy try this Panko crusted herb seasoned chicken recipe instead. It tastes just as good with a lot less fat and calories.

Ingredients

Couple Pounds of Chicken Drumsticks (At least half dozen to a dozen drumsticks depending on family size)
Two Cups of Panko Bread Crumbs
Tablespoon of Dried Parsley flakes
Teaspoon of Dried Thyme Leaves
Teaspoon of Dried Rosemary
Teaspoon of Sea Salt
¼ Teaspoon of Black Pepper
Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
Teaspoon of Onion power
Tablespoon of Paprika Powder
Olive Oil

Instructions

1. Pre-heat the oven to 400-degrees and get out a baking sheet.
2. In a large zip lock bag, add in the panko breadcrumbs, herbs and spices. Seal the bag up and give the ingredients a good shake to combine them together.
3. Wash and remove the skins from the drumsticks.
4. Place the drumsticks into the zip lock bag of seasoning, seal the bag up and give the bag some good shakes to coat the drumsticks with a crusty coating of goodness.
5. Place the drumsticks onto the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and bake them in the oven at 400-degrees for 30-minutes.
6. Serve the drumsticks up hot with your favorite side dish for a healthy satisfying meal that should help you cure the fried chicken craving.
