Lavender Lemon Vanilla Buttermilk Bath Salt

My favorite new homemade bath salt recipe I like to make is "Lavender Lemon Vanilla Buttermilk Bath Salt." It is one of my own homemade bath salt recipes, and it helps relieve stress while uplifting your spirits and relaxing your whole body and mind. It's great to make and store away for those stressful days when you need it in a relaxing bath.

Making the soak is very easy to make. All you need is five to six drops of lavender oil, 2 cups of Epsom salt, one whole grated lemon peel, one cup of buttermilk powder, and three vanilla beans. You can find all this ingredients in your local health food store, grocery store, and pharmacy. The cost for all the ingredients if you don't have them on hand comes to around thirty dollars, which sounds like a lot but if you have to buy all these ingredients you have enough ingredients to make one gallon of homemade Lavender Lemon Vanilla Buttermilk Bath Salt. Now if you do the exact recipe you should have about four cups of bath salt which can fit easily in a pint jar if you can pack in the bath salt well.

Now to make the lavender lemon vanilla buttermilk bath salt you will need a large bowl, measuring cups, a grater, a mixing spoon, a knife, a cutting board and a container or jar to put the bath salt into. Then you want to grate the skin of one whole lemon directly into the bowl and then add in your two cups of Epsom salt. After you will then need to add five to six lavender drops, one cup of buttermilk powder, and three vanilla beans sliced open so you can remove the vanilla extract from it and put it directly into the bath salt mixture, but don't throw away your empty vanilla beans. Next take your spoon and mix all the ingredients together. All the ingredients should look like a fine off white bath salt mixture that isn't clumpy with little black vanilla bean specks, and it should have a nice light lavender lemon vanilla scent to it. Once the bath soak is ready all you need to do is pour or scoop the mixture into a jar and container, add those empty vanilla beans on top, and store it away until you want it or need it in a relaxing bath to help relax and uplift your body, mind, and spirit.

Then when you are ready to use the homemade bath product in a relaxing bath all you do is fill a bath tub full of warm or hot water and add one cup to two cups of the product directly into the bath. Once your tub is filled, just hop right into the tub and relax for a half hour or longer if you wish and let the aroma relax your mind and spirit and let the bath relax your body. Then after your bath you will feel refreshed and ready to take on anything that comes your way, and your skin will be silky soft and smooth and smelling great.

Another great way to use the lavender lemon vanilla buttermilk bath salt is in a relaxing foot bath when your feet are feeling a little achy. Then all you do is fill your foot bath with warm water and add a half of a cup of the product into it and soak your feet for around twenty to thirty minutes in your foot bath. Then once your foot bath is over your feet should feel soft and happy again without any aches or pains.

My lavender lemon vanilla buttermilk bath salt is easy to make and wonderful to enjoy in a bath. I would recommend anyone to make it that needs a little pick me up to help them get through the day, or as away to relax their body, mind, and spirit so they can fall asleep easier at night time. I do know my friends and I love this soak and I hope you all do too.
