Review of The Derry History Museum

The Derry History Museum in Derry, New Hampshire is a historical museum that celebrates the bicentennial of America. It is the perfect place to learn the history of American and view artifacts that have been uncovered from the past and view the ones of now. 

The Derry History Museum is even a great place to take children for a good history lesson on what America use to be like in the past.The Derry History Museum in Derry, New Hampshire has been open since 1976 and is still open today Thursday through Sunday from one in the afternoon until four in the afternoon. However, you do have to call the Derry History Museum at 603-434-6042 to make an appointment to visit there on those days or to plan a field trip for a school trip. Some of the different historical things you will be seeing inside the Derry History Museum from America's history are documents, artifacts and photographs. You will even be able to view Native American artifacts that were found at the bottom of Beaver Lake such as canoes, bow and arrows, tools and paddles. Inside the Derry History Museum there are even rooms set up like old school classrooms with old chalk boards, desks, chairs, maps and writing utensils. There is even an area of the Derry History Museum that has old military transportations to take pictures of and look at. There is also other areas that are set up like military camps so you can view what a military camp would look like in America's past. In each room inside the Derry History Museum and beside each photograph, document and artifact there are even plaques that tell you what part of history each item comes from and what they where used for, home they where made and how they would be used. The Derry History Museum is defiantly a very information museum to visit if you are really looking to learn about America's history of the past and even about America's present day.
