Review of the Tip Top House

The Tip Top House on Mount Washington in Mount Washington State Park in Sargents Purchase, New Hampshire is one of the coolest historical sites to visit. The catch is though the only way to get to the Tip Top House is by hiking up the trails of Mount Washington to the top of the summit, driving the auto road in your car, on a motorcycle or on a four wheeler, or by taking the Cog Railroad.

The Tip Top House is only open on weekends from Memorial Day until October twelfth from ten in the morning until four in the afternoon. However, the Tip Top House is not open when the weather is bad on top of Mountain Washington for safety reasons which might also mean the auto road is shut down as well as the Cog Railway that take you up to the Tip Top House. Some of the other things you can do besides check out the Tip Top House on Mount Washington would be to visit the Sherman Adams Visitor Center. Inside are restrooms to use if you have to go the bathroom, snack bars to grab some food and drinks at if you are hungry and a gift shop to shop in if you want to get a souvenir to take home with you saying you visited the top of Mount Washington and the Tip Top House. The Sherman Adams Visitor Center is open from May to October from nine in the morning until six at night Monday through Friday and eight in the morning until six at night on Saturdays and Sundays. However, they have to close down to if the weather is bad on top of Mount Washington.

Some of the items you might want to consider bringing on your trip up Mount Washington to visit the Tip Top House might be good walking shoes, layered clothing that is warm, hat and mittens, snacks, drinks, lunches, camera, first aid kit, sunscreen, bug spray, and proper hiking gear if you are hiking up Mount Washington inside Mount Washington State Park in Sargents Purchase, New Hampshire. The reason you should bring all these items is because the weather is always changing on the mountain and you want to be prepared the best that you can.
